[LAMPS] Modeling pressure non-equilibrium in multiphase compressible flows with or without solids

Résumé


In the context of diffuse-interface methods, multiphase compressible flows can be modeled under equilibrium or non-equilibrium conditions for velocity, pressure, temperature, and chemical potential. This presentation focuses on flows with velocity equilibrium, with particular emphasis on modeling approaches for pressure relaxation terms. Key applications include shock-interface interactions, shock-induced droplet cavitation, and high-velocity solid impacts.
